The early Church met together in the Temple and in the homes, we are doing likewise. In addition to our Sunday service, we have Small Group Meetings in homes one Sunday out of the month with the dual purpose of friendship and engaging the Scriptures in way that makes them accessible to everyone.

Host families have opened their homes for this meeting to take place, but we ask Group members to contribute to the evening by bring something to share with the group, so that the burden of preparation is shared across the group.

 

Each meeting consists of a 7-10 minute video from MVWC staff that provides the content and “need to know” about the text assigned for the week/month followed by a discussion on the topic.

Small Group meeting has the following components: a time for friendship, a time to engage the Scriptures, and a time to pray for individuals in the group.
