Mountain View Youth fosters the faith of teens by creating opportunities for meaningful faith relationship with other adults in the congregation, friendship and fun among peers while learning how to incorporate and listen to the Word of God as it applies to their lives in a place where teens can explore faith and learn how put it into practice, and to have fun building relationships while discovering how God is uniquely equipping them to work in the world as part of the Kingdom. This tree symbolizes our vision for Youth Ministry. The roots connect us to the Word of God which is the foundation from which we grow. The branches grow to shape a heart which represents love, the core character trait we want to develop. The leaves are the unique talents of the teens not are the same, but all necessary for the beautiful picture God is painting.
