At MVWC we seek to instruct our children from a young age on the expectations of Jesus for His followers. Teaching the fruits of the spirit and how Jesus modeled them in the Gospels allows the children to see the heart of God and guides them in how to behave with one another. It is our hope that we build a community of children who, when they see a need, find a way to stand in the gap—to serve. We wish to cultivate cross-generational relationships so the children may learn valuable lessons from their elders who are strongly rooted in their faith and have so much to share. Our vision is that their participation in worship as well as church activities outside of the Sunday service will grow teens and then eventually adults who are comfortable in worship and desire to be active church members. We wish to encourage our youngest members to learn to seek and study the Truth of the Word, and use the Bible as their compass. This is done through weekly Children Church Services held simultaneously with our main church service and together with the main church service on the forth Sunday of each month.
